I like laserjets and it looks like even color laserjets have come down in price considerably but I also remember some strange printer I saw once that had solid colored chunks of wax(?) that loaded into some sort of magazine and then the printer melted these solid chunks to make color print-outs. I've always hated inkjet printers because if you use them infrequently the ink always dries and they're a PITA to reload the cartridges because of the priming process and the price of replacement...
