I recently bought and installed several VESA mounts of three different brands. Each display needed 4 M4 screws to attach to the mount. Every VESA mount came with four M4 screws that were too short plus four M4 screws that were too long. I scrounged all over the house for enough M4 screws of usable lengths, including swapping M4 screws out of other uses that could tolerate a longer or shorter screw substituted in.
