So I got a very old board an asrock x79 champion with a quad core in it, What I would like to know is, if were to fill all 8 slots what is the max speed of memory I can go? rate now it has 4 slots of 8 at 1600, id like to go another 4 at 1600 if it runs at that if not ill pass, (just looking to get my old computer up and running for diagnostic perposes if i take my main pc apart if i need to look up a youtube video or something else to help me with my main pc atleast im not without a...
