Mickey: *Resolved* Power failure - computer won't power, sort of....

A solid square mile or so in town went dark for about an hour today - some kind of loud explosion, then sirens about 60 seconds later. I'm told a transformer explosion, which I've seen one blow up before and knock out blocks of power, so I guess that could be the reason why. Anyway, once the power came back up I found out that I'm having an odd issue with my server computer and the problem doesn't appear to be one I've come across yet.
