Mickey: No display/video on RX 7600 GPU + H310CM HDV motherboard

Hello,
I've run into a weird issue with the following hardware:

CPU: Intel i5 8400
Motherboard: Asrock H310 CM HDV M.2/SE
GPU: AMD RX 7600

The video mode in the BIOS has two options (onboard and PCI Express).

The link speed is set to Gen3 (auto didn't help).

On plugging in the AMD GPU, neither the graphics card nor the inbuilt iGPU from the CPU emit any video out signal and the monitor(s, tested with multiple configs) simply say no device connected.

But the same setup works just fine...
