Mickey: monitor w good contrast and viewing angle for my sister with eye problems

she needs one that's small, with good contrast viewing angle, and is small cuz she needs to have it closer to her face to see good enough...


her message to me about it:

thought I would really want OLED, But it turns out that those have built-in dimming mechanisms, so they can never reach full white on more than 50% of the screen at a time! They auto-dim & it can't be turned off! As an attempt to prevent burn-in or something...

IPS looks like the next best bet, but it can't do...
