On a number of occasions now, I have lost the mouse cursor; and CTRL ALT DEL was ineffective. Rebooting is enough to fix the problem 'for the rest of the day'. It occurs soon after the first bootup of the day, and often when replying to an email (in Windows Live mail) or to a forum thread (in Firefox v50).
