I recently picked up an LG 34UM95P (used). One of the main attractions (not the only one) was the ability to work in side by side mode with two different inputs. Yet when I try to do this, the monitor presents itself as two 3440x1440 displays rather than two 1720x1440 displays. The effect is two very squashed screens.
