This post might be helpful to someone with this laptop. It is possible for the sound quality for this laptop to be low running on Windows 10. It has been like this for quite sometime. The sound icon showed 100% and so did my preferred media player (Pot Player). I decided to try something wonky. I installed the sound drivers for Windows 7 (sp60317). That fixed my sound issue!
