I just want to start a thread about the topic due to my experience searching for answers about it a year ago was very bad. Googling will drag you to a rabbit hole. December 2019 I bought myself a Specterpro 34uw100 for around $400 (converted). This is the cheapest VA ultrawide 100hz monitor I can find locally.
