Mickey: Front panel microphone jack, only produces static noise.

Hello everyone, i am happy with my system i have built but i have a problem.

The front microphone jack only gives me static when i plug it in, everything works ok on the rear ports and the frontal headphone port.

How can I solve and troubleshoot whats going on ?
