I'm trying to figure out the logic here, you have folks buying i7 4790 and motherboard combos, and sometimes ram for around $300.00/$350.00 and sometimes more, depending on the board. You can buy the latest generation i5 processor and a decent socket 1200 motherboard and 16 gig of DDR 4 for just a bit over $400.00 at Microcenter.
