We know what happened to AMD with bulldozer, their modules were downgraded from dual core to single core, because each module had just 1 shared FPU. This was a downgrade from their stars uarch. Today we have alderlake, here each core has a cut down FPU, cut down to half what Intel put in tigerlake and rocketlake. Doesn't this mean that an alderlake core is less than a core?
